Said this before but I’ll say it again. Just one lifetime ago in the UK, our fathers could buy a home, buy a car, have 3 to 4 children, wives could stay home, take annual vacations, and then retire… all on one middle-class salary. What happened?

People are saying across the UK they are voting #Reform because things can't get any worse. Look at #Reform UK councils across the UK to see that in fact they can and will do.

That should be a lesson not to whinge about team selection before a ball has been kicked! 😅 Up the Pools - Reiss McNally and Jay Benn absolutely superb. #hufc

@lukeprice_18 @BBCTeesSport If it was your business and you were paying the wages would you keep him. When you run your own business you ask these questions. If someone else is paying the wages you tend to overlook the bigger picture

@BBCTeesSport I think he’s coached some very good results this season since he’s stepped up, there has also been some poor results, would’ve been a risk to let him build his team with this being his first managerial role, but it’s not something I would’ve been against

What a finish to the season in the National League thanks to Mani Dieseruvwes 99th minute winner for Rochdale at Braintree. Could not have been a goal from a nicer guy. All down to the last game of the season as top of table York go to Dale. Unbelievable…….

@JWheelhouse_01 He is a great player when fit, do you take the chance on a player who may only play 20 games a season for you or do you invest the wages back into the squad. These are the questions that will be asked

Just on the Pools team this afternoon, surprised - and a little frustrated - that we haven't seen more of Charlie Caton, who surely should be ahead of Adam Campbell on form, Jay Sway and Calvin Okike. Begs the question, what was the point in bringing them in?

@IsaacHUFC Genuine question — have you actually enjoyed watching this? After 50 years following Pools, this is some of the most negative, boring football I’ve seen. Apart from Carlisle and Rochdale… what games have you actually enjoyed?

Boreham Wood could finish with 90 points and not even get in the top 3, Leyton Orient won the league with 89 in 2019. Is this league a bit mental or is everyone bar a small handful of teams absolute mince?

🔵 Wouldn’t be surprised to see Darrell Clarke emerge as a candidate of interest for Hartlepool United. Someone who led Bristol Rovers from the National League to League One and has been linked with the club in the past. #Pools | #HUFC
