We have had the privilege to be guests of 467th Bomb Group / 93rd Bomb Group for their reunion in Colorado Springs and to present the story of Wendover Airfield, our history, and our progress. Wonderful time, wonderful experiences and wonderful people!

We have had the pleasure of being guests today at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. What an amazing facility. We felt bad the iconic chapel is undergoing a major renovation and were unable to see it.

It's National Fire Prevention Week! We appreciate what our firefighters have done throughout our history. They have been essential to base safety. This a photo of an Air Force fire crew taken in our fire station with a O-10 Crash Truck, O-11A Crash Truck, and a 530B Fire Engine.

Foundation president, Jim Petersen, was invited to present at a meeting of the 8th Air Force Historical Society in New Orleans last week. Thanks to the @8th_afhs for including us in their program and allowing us to spread the word about our efforts to preserve our Airfield.
