Everyone talks about the next 100M crypto users. Very few are talking about the infrastructure that those 100M users will actually need. That’s where I think @kalqix deserves more attention. 🧵

Tony Cascarino on Garnacho: 🗣 "I think his time at Chelsea is done. He's not warmed the hearts of the Chelsea faithful. He's had a bit of a strange season in and out of the team. There's a talent there, no doubt, but he reminds me of Joao Felix, where you can see there's so much there, but he's inconsistent." ~ @talkSPORT

Gm CT Picture this: Imagine showing up to a race... only to realize the winner crossed the finish line five minutes ago. Crazy right!! It's the case here, most people think a token launch begins when they see it on their timeline. In reality, for many launches, the race is already over. When @breaddothot says "Over 50% of tokens are sniped in their creation block," they're pointing to something many retail traders never notice. The moment a token goes live, bots and well positioned insiders can detect it, buy before the wider market reacts, and often exit within minutes. That's not necessarily because they picked a better project. It's because they had a structural advantage. The result? Early price discovery becomes dominated by speed rather than broad participation, leaving everyone else to enter a market that's already been reshaped. No launch mechanism can eliminate every advantage, but thoughtful design can reduce predictable extraction and give more participants a fair chance to enter on clearer terms. That's why launch mechanics deserve just as much attention as tokenomics.

Over 50% of tokens are sniped in their creation block 🌾 Pine Analytics measured it: same-block sniping is the dominant launch pattern - 87% of insider snipes profitable, 85% out within five minutes. Extraction became infrastructure. It's the pattern bread.hot's 2% cap is aimed at - a standard, not a guarantee.

Most people think a cross-chain swap is just about moving tokens between blockchains. In reality, the biggest challenge is making sure the exchange is secure, reliable, and predictable. This is where STON.fi is taking a different approach. Instead of rushing to launch, the team focused on building the core infrastructure first. ➠ Request for Quote (RFQ) → Rather than relying solely on automated liquidity, RFQ enables market makers to provide fixed-price quotes for traders. This creates a more predictable trading experience before a swap is executed. ➠ Hashed Timelock Contracts (HTLCs) → HTLC technology helps ensure both parties complete the swap under predefined conditions. If those conditions aren’t met within the specified time, the transaction can safely expire, reducing counterparty risk while preserving the agreed exchange rate during execution. ➠ Cross-chain infrastructure → STON.fi has already demonstrated test swaps between TON and TRON, validating the underlying architecture before introducing it to a wider audience. What stands out is the long-term vision. The goal isn’t simply to connect blockchains. It’s to build a cross-chain trading experience with: → Fixed exchange rates during execution. → No bridge dependency. → No wrapped assets. → Reduced slippage. Building reliable DeFi infrastructure takes far more than a polished interface. By prioritizing security, protocol design, and rigorous testing, STON.fi is laying the groundwork for a smoother cross-chain experience. Understanding the technology behind a protocol is just as important as using it. @ston_fi @ton_blockchain $GRAM $STON #Defi

Twelve angles on @quipnetwork this week. Every single one led deeper than the last. The security stack. ➔ WOTS+ on Bitcoin. Hybrid classical plus ML-DSA on Ethereum. Now running in WebAssembly for browsers and lightweight clients. ➔ SHRINCS ... 324-byte post-quantum signatures built on SHA-256. Over 7x smaller than ML-DSA. Presented by Quip's CTO as a serious candidate. ➔ The factory cannot move your funds. Cannot upgrade your wallet without you. Trust enforced by code. Not by the company. ➔ Winternitz signatures were already on-chain in June 2025. The research was proven before the testnet launched. The execution layer. ➔ Their own Quantum Virtual Machine. Written in Rust. Its own assembly language XQASM. ➔ XQuad ... LLVM for quadratic models. Write a problem once. Retarget it to any supported backend. ➔ Hybrid signatures being integrated across every signing surface ... user transactions, block production, finality votes, browser, Python, and operator keystore. V0.2 in progress. The threat is accelerating. ➔ The qubit threshold to break Bitcoin's cryptography has dropped three times in six years. The direction of travel is no longer in question. ➔ A researcher cracked a 15-bit elliptic curve key on cloud-accessible quantum hardware and won 1 Bitcoin for it. ➔ Bitcoin still has no consensus. Ethereum is planning. Ripple has a deadline. @quipnetwork deployed. The verification layer. ➔ Miners publish hardware info directly on-chain. Not in a dashboard. On the chain itself. ➔ 25 public repositories. Every algorithm open. Every proposal public. ➔ The work is inspectable at every level. Anyone can verify it. Most projects secure one layer and call it done. This week showed @quipnetwork is building across all of them at the same time.

A post-quantum signature scheme producing 324-byte signatures is getting serious attention in the Ethereum security community right now. It is called SHRINCS. @quipnetwork's co-founder is presenting it alongside other hash-based post-quantum signatures currently running on smart contracts today. Hash-based. Stateful. Over 7x smaller than ML-DSA-44. Built entirely on SHA-256, the same hash function already securing Bitcoin's proof of work and Merkle trees. No new cryptographic assumptions required. Think of it like a lock that uses the smallest possible key without compromising the strength of the lock itself. Most post-quantum signatures are bulky because security and size usually trade off against each other. SHRINCS finds a more efficient path for use cases where the number of signatures per key is small, combining a stateful signing mechanism with a stateless fallback under one 32-byte public key. His framing: "Quantum computers break the ECDSA signatures behind every Ethereum account. But you can go post-quantum today." This matters for @quipnetwork specifically because the network is already shipping multiple post-quantum approaches across different chains. It already ships WOTS+ on Bitcoin, hybrid classical plus ML-DSA on Ethereum, and those same hybrid signatures now running in WebAssembly for browsers and lightweight clients. SHRINCS is one more serious candidate. @quipnetwork is building the layer that makes deploying any of them possible.

Sunday mornings are good for reflecting on all the hidden work that goes into launching a chain. Most teams spend months after shipping just building basic tooling — explorer, wallet integration, analytics — from scratch while trying to get traction. @CNPYNetwork flips that. On Canopy, that tooling already exists and is built into the app, covering every chain in the ecosystem. It lets you focus on what actually matters instead of reinventing the basics every time. Small shift, big difference for teams that want to move fast and stay focused. What’s one piece of tooling you wish was just there from day one?

Jude Bellingham really went hard on replying Tuchel for criticising their performance against Norway. Obviously, thise two don't love each other that much, but Bellingham is carrying the team. Tuchel has to tolerate and respect that.
