The stat is incorrect, @cricketaakash. I know of 5 instances before yesterday's game where a team had played only 2 overseas players in the game. 1 - CSK vs. KKR, IPL 2011 2 - DC vs. MI, IPL 2022 3 - MI vs. RCB, IPL 2022 4 - MI vs. SRH, IPL 2024 5 - KKR vs. MI, IPL 2024
