Van Halen Album Ranking from Worst to Best #11: OU812 (1988) To put it simply, I DO NOT like this album. This is Van Halen going WAY TOO soft. I mean, it’s one thing for Eddie to dabble in keyboards, but it’s a SHOCK to me that he would let them TOTALLY smother and outshine his guitar. And that’s what happened here. Another issue I have with this album is Alex’s kick drum. It sounds too artificial and stiff, don’t know if he used electronic drums or not. But it just sounds like someone throwing pebbles at a window 😂 Especially the beginning of the song A.F.U. OH MY GAWD it’s so annoying!😂 The few songs I like are When It’s Love (just because it’s catchy as hell), Source Of Infection and the two closing tracks Black And Blue and Sucker In A 3 Piece because they rock pretty good. Overall, I almost never go back to this album. If you dig it, good on ya. It’s just not my bag…

@BiscuitsJesus Barber and I have talked extensively about how as wonderful as Phish is, they don’t curate a scene that exposes and empowers the up-and-comers

I think it's pretty cool that Biscuits are opening for Goose The first time I saw Goose they opened for the Biscuits in 2019 I'm glad they can return the favor now that they're big My biggest complaint about Phish is no openers. People that automatically skip openers suck

4 years ago today Goosemas VIII, originally scheduled for 12/18/22, was cancelled due to illness. @goosetheband would reschedule the show to 2/26/22. Lots to talk about with the show but we will save that until the show anniversary.
