I'm talking bands that don't contradict each other but that overlap in certain ways and at certain moments but whose differences are fundamental and perhaps philosophical. I liked Zeppelin as a kid but I was a Who partisan, I much preferred the core of what they were about, just as I'm Beatles over Stones.

The Who are in fact one of the best bands however the lamest thing you can do on here is get mad when people don't like a band you like and so I'm giving John a big thumbs up and moving on with my life.
