메사리가 AI 전환 선언한 거 보자마자 전에 SKT 행보 보고 느낀 씁쓸한 입맛이 떠오름 2024년 스크트는 AI대러그 아니 대전환을 발표했었음. 회사 안에 사업 DNA가 없다는 미지근한 위기감은 커져가는데, 새 이니셔티브는 잘 안 보이고, 가만있을 수도 없으니 리더쉽이 내새운 새 지향성이었음. 메사리도 비슷해 보임. AI 때문에 리서치 회사의 존재 자체가 질문받는 시기에, “우.. 우린 잠식당하지 않고 그 물살에 올라탈테야!” 선언하는 건데, 누가봐도 부들부들 떨고있는 거 아님..? 물론 메사리가 재무제표 공개하는 회사는 아니라 진짜 얼마나 먹고살기 힘든지는 알 수 없음. 다만 체감 상 작년엔 중국 따거들이 내러티브 붙인 한탕용 플젝들 리포트까지 정성들여 써 주는 거 보고 “먹고살기 힘들긴 한가보다” 느낌이 강해졌던 것 같음. 안타까운건 그럴 수록 오히려 중립을 못 지키는 것이 느껴지고, 편향된 정보 프레이밍이 거슬릴 때가 늘어났음. 메사리만의 문제는 아니구 리서치 회사 전반, 그리고 AI로 대체될 수밖에 없는 가치 제안을 가진 비즈니스가 전부 처한 현실일거임. 머 난센처럼 인텔쪽을 잡든지 더블록처럼 미디어를 잡든지 딱 포지셔닝 못 잡은 점이나, 해자가 없는 점이 더 위기를 어렵게 만드는 것도 있는 듯 암튼 과연 메사리의 AI 대러그 선언이 섭종 직전 마지막 발버둥은 아닐지 흠터레스팅하게 지켜 볼 예정

I Saved Injective's $500M. They Pay Me $50K. I like hunting bugs on @immunefi . I'm decent at it. - #1 — Attackathon | Stacks - #2 — Attackathon | Stacks II - #1 — Attackathon | XRPL Lending Protocol - 1 Critical and 1 High from bug bounties (not counting this one) Life was good. Then I found a Critical vulnerability in @injective . This vulnerability allowed any user to directly drain any account on the chain. No special permissions needed. Over $500M in on-chain assets were at risk. I reported it through Immunefi. The next day, a mainnet upgrade to fix the bug went to governance vote. The Injective team clearly understood the severity. Then — silence. For 3 months. No follow up. No technical discussion. Nothing. A few days ago, they notified me of their decision: $50K. The maximum payout for a Critical vulnerability in their bug bounty program is $500K. I disputed it. Silence again. No explanation for the reduced payout. No explanation for the 3 month ghost. No conversation at all. To be clear: the $50K has not been paid either. I've seen others share bad experiences with bug bounty payouts recently. I never thought it would happen to me. I can't force them to do the right thing. But I won't let this be forgotten. 내부적으로 확인한게 아닌, 토크노믹스상에서 발생하는 변수의 조합으로 도출한 결과입니다. 1. 불확실성이 제거됨에 따라 discount 요인이 사라지며 fair value 증가 -> early staker입장에서는 리스크지제거 & 프리미엄 발생 2. 1의 불확실성이 제거되기까지의 시간은 알 수 없기에 기본적으로 early staker의 기간 프리미엄은 자연스래 발생 1*2는 복리로 쌓이다는 의미였습니다.
