Atticus The Catticus. Xtreme sleeping Champion.
Coco has left the building. The poor little girl did a stress 💩 in the carrier on the way 2 Petstock. Her apartment looks very spacious but she headed straight 2 the gap between the litter tray & the wall. We have our 🐾 & everything that's crossable crossed she settles in soon

@LortSmith This is appalling!! We do hope that Dorothy has a long and happy life with someone who loves her and send purrs and head boops to Emma and to effuryone at Lort Smith 💜💜💙💙💚💚

At just six weeks old, this tiny kitten has already experienced a level of cruelty no animal should ever know. While driving along St Albans Road, a Good Samaritan, Emma witnessed something almost impossible to comprehend. A car ahead of her rolled their window down… and two small kittens were thrown out onto the road. With traffic moving at around 60km/h and nothing but hard pavement beneath them, their chances of survival were devastatingly slim. Emma didn’t hesitate. She braked immediately and pulled over, finding one of the kittens, now named Dorothy, terrified, hissing, and in obvious pain. Another driver stopped to help search for the second kitten, but tragically, they couldn’t be found. Knowing Dorothy needed urgent help, Emma rushed her to Lort Smith Animal Hospital’s Emergency Department, where vets confirmed she had a fractured pelvis. Despite everything she’s been through, Dorothy is showing incredible strength. “How anyone could do this to any animal, let alone defenceless six-week-old kittens, is beyond comprehension,” said Chief Veterinarian Dr Jessica Wilde. “Amazingly, little Dorothy is proving to be quite the fighter, and we are doing everything we can to help her pull through.” Dorothy is now receiving the urgent care she needs, and is being lovingly looked after in foster care by one of our nurses, where she can finally rest, recover, and begin to feel safe. We’re so grateful to Emma for stopping and stepping in when Dorothy needed it most. It’s hard to make sense of something like this. But what we do know is that there is never an excuse. If you’re unable to care for an animal, there are always safer, more compassionate options, including surrendering them to a shelter or veterinary clinic. Dorothy is incredibly lucky to be alive.

Diary of a cat servant: Ella and I had a debate about who footrests were meant for. I think that you can guess how it went.

@wombatwalking I consulted Wonton regarding this matter. I was informed that "any and all furniture belong to cats. We are just allowed to use them". 😂
