The weather this week looks VERY different to last week. Much colder - hail, wind and rain on the way. The march madness continues - like it does every year (for us anyway!) What's it like where you are?

Frames come out of the washing soda bath SUPER clean and free of any gunk, wax or propolis. Quick dip in boiler water and then hung out to dry!

@SheffieldHoney Aberdeenshire 4 colonies went into winter, missed Apivar window so 2 Varroxal vapes in the broodless period. All colonies had a brood break in summer from dearth/queen rearing and so far all 4 still alive

UK beekeeper blame winter losses on damp weather, nothing to do with them not treating for varroa properly, not properly feeding bees for winter haven taken all the honey, not maintaining strong colonies with young queens 😡🤷‍♂️ all sponsored by the BBKA attention seeking trade grp

@ScottishWidows what a waste of paper,postage and resources after sending two copies of the same letter & booklet for the same account but one showing a zero balance and the other with the current balance. Hope the costs didn't come out of my pension pot.
