It's not gatekeeping to say that anarchists are the reason for may day. Especially when MLs cut us out of the story. There's that Hasan clip where he says anarchism is worthless and that if we liked the 8 hour work day and the weekend to "thank a communist" it's not gate keeping-

I genuinely cannot recommend to young queer people enough: get the hell out of intracommunity discourse. Literally read anything else all day. Read history, any history, not just queer history, anything really. This endless identity powerscaling is a poison.

One of the funniest things about Austin Powers is how he is exponentially less of a weird creep than Bond

i'm not a rightwing person but it's gotta be the best scam to think communism of Marx's variety or even Lenin's or Mao's is remotely relevant to the world we occupy today. it is the opiate of the chronically online masses, completely inhibits actual thinking about the world.

@T0xic_Bro It won't even be enforced. If there's ever an "AI performance" that's so good that it deserves an Oscar, it will be given to the actor playing it, or in the categories of animated film or special effects.

Genuinely these statements are so weird and just kind of meant to appease some actor crowd who are fully losing their shit that they're gonna be replaced by performance-less digital recreations.

Weird and meaningless. They wouldn't even give Tom Hanks an Oscar for playing Woody either.

Now to be fair, Hasan did actually collect money for some humanitarian causes through his platform, in particular for Gaza soon after October 7. 7/20

This ridiculous “champagne socialism” or “cava communism” culminated in a “humanitarian” propaganda trip to Cuba, parading around in clothes worth a decade of local salary and staying in 5-star hotels with fellow “left-wing” supporters of Russian imperialism like Codepink. 6/20

People's characterization of OCD compulsions are "if I don't wash my hands all my family will die" which sounds ridiculous. It's actually "there's a chance I came into contact with e. coli and if I don't wash my hands I will spread it all over the kitchen and my family will die"

Hi, I’ve been investigating how this song ended up on so many toys. I’m not done with the story but I can tell you that this tweet is wrong. I spoke to Veronica Almqvist, the sole current member of smile.dk and this song was never licensed legally, it was just used
Time Capsule Tales@timecaptales

A 1998 Swedish eurodance song, Butterfly by Smile.dk, became the chorus in millions of toy phones. The chorus was licensed into countless toy phones worldwide, turning it into a hidden global hit. Most people grew up hearing it without ever knowing its origin.
