Climate Champion Competition for West Norfolk. Our Year 5's have won first prize of a weather station , they had to produce a video, leaflet, poster and a PowerPoint to raise awareness of climate change. Here is their video.

West Winch Primary School have been recognised as a 'School Friend' of Nelson's Journey. We have been recognised for providing bereavement support in school by creating a safe space for children to talk.

World Book Day. At 2.15 today each class will hold a story cafe and we invite parents to come into school to spend time with their child/children. Each teacher will share their favourite picture book followed by a range of book themed activities.

Following our successful coffee morning we have a few cakes left over which Year 6 will sell in the playground this afternoon at home time.

Thank you for all your support with the Valentine coffee morning. It was a huge success and Year 6 and Year R were amazing.

As part of our continued emphasis of mental wellbeing we invite all children tomorrow to come to school in non-uniform. Wear an outfit that expresses themselves whether it is their favourite outfit, a splash of colour, a traditional attire that celebrates their culture or hobby.

We have a vacancy for a Midday Supervisory Assistant. Duties involve setting up/clearing away the dining tables, basic first aid and supervising, supporting and playing with children. Applications should be made on the form available from the office.
