A couple of Masterclasses were organized for the students of Alpha College of Engineering on Sep 21, 2022. It was attended by nearly 150+ students of the MBA department and a few Engineering students as well.

A Masterclass on Startup from Scratch with Rishi Dev Ratan, Co-Chair, Branding Yi Chennai and CEO of Con10T labs was held in The Kalam Hall, Saveetha Engineering College on Sep 17th and the session was followed by exclusive games related to Entrepreneurship.

Yi Thalir and Climate Change vertical conducted a Water Warriors Session for the students of classes 6, 7, and 8 of Kesari Higher Secondary School, T. Nagar on September 21st and distributed 150 activity cards. The school has also been added to the list of Thalir Schools.

In the era of digital technology the Rural team under Yi Chennai has initiated an inspiring concept of Digital learning and Yi Hour at RBANC School in Pudupet. A 32” Smart TV was donated and installed by Yi Chennai Chapter at the school premises to facilitate digital learning.

70+ Yuva's were given an opportunity to watch the Day 4 of WTA , India's leading Tennis Tournaments with teams participating across the world. Sports always gives an extra edge and we are sure this gave an experiential and value learning.

Yi Chennai Accessibility team conducted Unveil - The Mystery Breakfast for Yi members. An activity based approach to make people understand the challenges faced by non sighted people and to create Empathy for them.

Yi Chennai today participated in the planet's longest clean up drive. We were awarded a portion of beach - Kanagi statue to be handled by the govt. 190 Yuvas participated.

Extraordinary performances by Team India across all sports at Common Wealth games 2022 at Birmingham. Our Honorary members Achanta Sharath Kamal and Sathiyan Gnanasekaran were on a roll by winning 3 gold medals and 1 silver . Proud to have them part of Yi Chennai.

Yi Chennai is honoured and proud to take Road safety to Awareness Action & Advocacy level. We collaborated with Govt of Tamilnadu and Greater Chennai Traffic Police in a joint initiative launching the SuperKidCop Report Card program.

The event was well spoken across all Govt portals, leading news channels and newspapers, with the entire police team holding the posters and report cards for the press. we inroads collaborated with Government and Administration to create a study and process for Road safety.

Yi Thalir and Masoom vertical conducted the Masoom skit at CPS Mogappair and JNN School on 29th July. The morning saw 2 sessions for around 490 students from classes 4 and 5 of CPS along with distribution of 1100 activity books from classes 1 to 7.
