it’s funny my first design tool was apple keynote. and even today i sometimes still record my screenwith their smart animations like this after i canceled my adobe. excited to try figma motion tho

built a badge/icon system for my travel stay tracker app this is first draft but i felt like my design skills for building in figma has been completely useless now. for this, it was basically rough figma -> claude + setting up rules -> screenshot and annotate on figma for claude to iterate

five years ago i came across @yichenxie_ first website and it's one of the reasons i got into design. quiet, restrained, genuinely poetic. it made me want to become a designer, in love with the craft, bringing beauty and serenity into products, websites, and any digital experience. seeing his second site now, even more so. excited for whatever he builds next !

also experimenting with this windowing system. reminds me of back at msft i was chitchatting with @atom63_ about how much he loves making widgets and windows (no pun intended)

just cancelled my webflow subscription after 5 years. i was too lazy to rebuild… ironically the hype of fable 5 last week made me feel like i needed to build something for the web, and my portfolio was probably the best place to start. one very long day later, here i am with web 2.0. (made with love, and opus… i was late to the game to use fable) and also shout out to @fleeting_land chitchatting with her every week rewired my brain and I love this poetic landing page.
