Ever wondered if FedCM supports authorization ? It's coming! Starting in Chrome 126, you can sign up for an origin trial and try it on your domain with the Continuation API. There are a few more exciting updates as well. developers.google.com/privacy-sandbo…

FedCM is a new #browser API that enables identity federation without relying on 3P cookies. With an upcoming new feature called Button Mode API, FedCM will be able to display a modal dialog and let the user sign in to the identity provider before signing into the relying party.

@RickByers @samuelgoto I want to say “time” but that seems to be an unsatisfying answer :) FWIW supporting the declarative API on top of the imperative one would bring more adoption. And of course there could be more proactive outreach if desired.

I ran into WebOTP for the first time as a consumer! Who would have guessed that it would be while ordering a burger from the local joint! @yigsgu @RickByers isn't this beautiful?

@samuelgoto I actually used those numbers a couple of times. Then I realized, the chance it would win is the same as any other random combinations, but the money I could get must be significantly less because I’m not the only LOST fan…

FedCM reduces user friction for federation in a privacy-preseving manner. This is our first step to not only preserve but also enhance federation on an interoperable web in the long run. See more details here: developer.chrome.com/blog/fedcm-shi…

@vibronet I like that it makes the other person pause and think "wtf is isomorphic? maybe he is right. yeah, i'm going to say that he is right so that i sound smart too." :)

Can confirm. I probably use "isomorphic" more than I should too.

FWIW, i probably wouldn't know how to invert a binary tree by heart either without trying a lot. I'm take pride in all of that: to me, it means that my brains is fully used for things that i know aren't already stored somewhere.

In the last 15 years, I have only worked on/for the web: 5 developing for the Web like Gmail and Docs, 5 crawling the Web on Google Search and the last 5 developing the Web on Chrome. I still have no idea how to center a <div> without Googling it.
