First British example of the weevil - gasterocercus depressirostris trapped in my VC15 moth trap on 27/9. A rare species in its central and Southern European range. Well worth potting anything unusual, not just moths!

103 birds ringed @Wintersett1 this morning with highlights of Chiffs 27, Willow Warbler 7, Reed Warbler 10, Sedge Warbler 17, Blackcap 12, Garden Warbler 5, Whitethroat 7, Cettis 4 juvs, Treecreeper and totally out of the blue an adult female Bearded Tit with a brood patch .
