Footage circulating over the past 24 hours show Iran-backed militias from Iraq crossing into southwestern Iran, including Abadan, home to major oil facilities. Clad in military uniforms, the fighters claim to be part of a “loyalty convoy” aiding civilians, but footage shows them patrolling city streets. Earlier reports linked these militias to suppressing anti-government protests and civilian killings in Iran.
