@Ayoelesho The same law that gave Iran the rights to attack Americans soldiers and citizens across the region either directly by the IRGC or by its proxies. US avoided the Iranian meddling and hostilities for decades, watched it made a beeline of nukes and trimmed it fast as it should.

@AJEnglish The GCC resolution signals growing international pressure on Iran to halt destabilizing actions and compensate victims. The call for swift reparation will test Tehran’s willingness to engage constructively.

My opinion: Before now, Americans lived in a bubble. Their government, for decades, had propagandised them into believing that they were loved across the world, and that the unnecessary wars, regime change, and mayhem they perpetrated in numerous countries were supported by the nationals of said countries. However, since the beginning of the war America and Israel started in Iran, which has now destabilised the Middle East, Americans have gotten unfiltered opinions from voices around the globe concerning how we really feel about them policing the world, plundering resources, and sponsoring insurgency. They can now see that they are not loved and their government is very unpopular. Those who still have a conscience among them not only feel ashamed and angry at their government for lying to them for years, but they are now desensitized and if they continue to get these unfiltered opinions from us, they will rise and change the American regime. Of course, those who control the government don't want this to happen, and they must create a wall to prevent these opinions from reaching the Americans. But doing so explicitly by simply cutting off the rest of the world will create two situations. One, it will further radicalise those who are already tired of the lies of their government and fast-track the inevitable unrest and overhaul of the regime. Two, it will show the world that America is no different from Iran and China, which they constantly call dictatorships because they create a wall on their internet and social media to protect their people from Western propaganda. Since both of the foregoing outcomes are unfavourable, the only way to prevent people from airing their opinions on American politics and policies (which exploits the rest of the world) is to disincentivise us from doing so through creator payouts. And this is exactly what influenced this new policy. But let me be clear, the need to continuously expose Americans to the crimes of the American regime across the world far surpasses a few dollars that might be earned from being on the American side of X. So, we will continue to speak the truth because for us, it determines our future, and goes beyond earning a few dollars.
Nikita Bier@nikitabier

Starting Thursday, we'll be updating our revenue sharing incentives to better reward the content we want on X: We will be giving more weight to impressions from your home region—to encourage content that resonates with people in your country, in neighboring countries and people who speak your language. While we appreciate everyone's opinion on American politics, we hope this will disincentivize gaming the attention of US or Japanese accounts and instead, drive diverse conversations on the platform. We invite creators to start building an audience locally. X will be a much richer community when there's relevant posts for people in all parts of the world.

Kenyan politicians have been extremely edgy and stressed since the start of the IRAN war. Watching their motherland DUBAI being bombarded by missiles has been distressing and worrying. Thoughts and prayers.

If Iran dropped a bomb on US soil and killed 168 girls, WE all know what America’s response would be. Nuke Iran. America is the only country to have ever nuked another country. Yet so many fools have been brainwashed that it’s Iran who cannot have a nuclear weapon because they would bomb everyone. But we all know, it is America that has no restraint to bombing anyone at will and using a nuke. Knowledge is free, just as stupidity is free!

@PempheroMphande @IdrisAOni1 No. Iran will nuke Israel if they get nuclear weapons. Well, not Iran per see, but the Islamic Republic. This is why the regime can not be allowed to have nuclear weapons, as they have as their national policy the destruction of the Jewish state. Hope this helps

@kirenzi_samson @qataharraymond Your government spent over $330,000 on purchasing generators for the speaker and her deputy to put at their private mansions, but your confused head tells you someone making $240 a month should pay more taxes. Are you okay in the head?

Never make this argument ever again. A citizen here doesn’t have even half the welfare benefits and structural order that allows them to let go of close to half their income

Raymond, why don’t you want him to make such comparisons? Yet you guys always want to compare our drainage systems or the road infrastructure of our country with theirs? Plus, how shall Uganda get there? I mean to that well organized structure you’re talking about? What government needs to focus on is accountability and service delivery! Otherwise the policies are almost the same everywhere.
