@zonix_o

I make Framer templates so you don't have to start from scratch.

@jshguo It’s the "Dribbblisation" of everything. Once you start designing for the algorithm instead of the user, you lose that edge that makes your work actually unique. Tough loop to break.

Designers are being trained by platforms to chase engagement. And when engagement becomes the goal, patience disappears. Instead of slowly developing their own work, many start copying whatever already gets attention. That is how design turns into a loop of recycled taste.

@justinskycak Spot on. Most people quit the search too early because the "building yourself" part is painful. But once you have the skills to contribute, the mission actually becomes fun. Hard work isn't the problem, it's work without upside.

You can be happy doing tons of work when it feels like a mission, involves varied challenges, forces you to grow, brings you together with interesting people, lets you capture value you create, and compounds. I think most people can find this fit if they're willing to invest in searching for it while building themselves into someone who can contribute.

2 weeks in. Template is 60% done. The listings CMS took twice as long as expected. Filterable collections in Framer have a specific setup order that isn't obvious the first time. #Framer

Built out the full CMS structure for Parkside today. 7 collections, 37 items. Every section of the site pulls from a collection the agent updates their info once and it flows everywhere. That's the goal: zero hardcoded copy. #Framer

6/6 — The niche score I use: Search volume 1,000+/month ✓ Framer competition low (<25 templates) ✓ Buyer has budget ✓ Affiliate upside (agents upgrade Framer for CMS) ✓. Real estate passed all four.

5/6 — Step 4: find 5 good reference sites. Not Framer templates — actual agent sites that convert. These become the design brief.

The real estate agent template I'm building has one job: turn a profile visit into a booked call. Everything else is decoration.

Did the same with my new website cause I wasn’t so good on the calls. Now when they buy my service, they immediately receive an onboarding form in their email to fill.

Last week I've built a small quiz that helps me collect more qualified leads for @TrueformCo Everyone who'd like to work with us fills out a few questions upfront the call booking so we can see if we're a fit or not. This way my own, and the lead's time is respected. If we are not a match, I send them a playbook on how to to ship brand and site good enough for some decent growth, so we are the right fit later on. Pushing everyone directly into a call always felt a bit obtrusive. So, if you'd like to work with us, fill our the quiz, it takes 1 minute. Happy to hear from you! 🔗👇

Built a @Framer Code Component with Gemini today! 🚀 A draggable horizontal slider where everything is controllable. From card size and draggable navigation to custom gaps & margins—it auto-fits any layout seamlessly. Gonna be my favorite workflow from now. Best time to be a designer! ✨
