@icanhazstring @symfony @fabpot Yeah, it heavily depends on the server setup. Is there maybe an nginx reverse proxy in between, which directs all calls on that needed port or domain to :80? I would guess, that the application server logs would give more insights into that.

@zyr0error @symfony @fabpot Yep. Currently trying to figure out why this is happening. But we are seeing that on the server itself. Running the baseUri with port. The symfony exception thrown is always on port 80, not 8081. But its kind of hard to replicate 🤔

Is there a solid reason why @symfony http-client does not forward custom ports? Like http://my.domain:8081 is always calling port 80. But I need that port to be used. /cc @fabpot
