As a fan of manga who wants to support artists, translators, letters, and others in the industry who love manga too, it truly is disappointing to see some on both the English and Japanese sides who are willing to deliver an inferior product, favoring speed and quantity.

From my own perspective, I understand concerns of piracy and see the demand for English releases, but AI truly should not be the answer to this... From what's been said about Orange's issues, and now Media Do's acquisition of Seven Seas, it's definitely concerning.

To be fair, the "Translation System" has been used for their own eBook releases so far... So it would be wrong to assume it will be imposed on 7S. Regardless, having a parent company that is very pro-AI in the translation process is just not reassuring right now.
