Looking for travel suggestions… I want to take my family + in-laws somewhere next summer. 4 adults + 4 kids (ages will be 8, 6, 2 and 6 months) Timeframe: 60 days (June and July) Location: anywhere in the world that is safe and kid friendly. Where do you suggest going?

@markjenney You looking for hot hot summer vibes or more mellow temps? If former, Punta Mita. If latter, Canary Islands.

@markjenney 1) Costa Rica - Can do mix of beach, rainforest, volcano, city. Great for families. Easy to get around. Fantastic mix of STRs and Resorts I can recommend Greece/Croatia - Charter a boat or island hop doing a week in a couple of places. Also gives older kids chance to see history

@markjenney With that many people and kids, would Def recommend a rental house on the beach in lanikai! +5 hr direct flight. Can't beat the views and beach.

@markjenney A Portugal + Spain combo is fun. Also love the Cotswolds area of England and around there.

@markjenney Ice Land. A little expensive but you’ll be outside/nature all the time. Food is great and super nice people. Hiking, camping, natural springs…

@markjenney Base yourself in somewhere like Switzerland near the lakes or on a lake. Take trips to Germany, France , and Italy with the family and kids by getting a mini bus and driver. Go on a train trip, go into the mountains , rent a boat, enjoy the family time together

@markjenney See Lofoten Islands and Helgeland Coast. Combine with Jotunheimen for hiking from cabin to cabin, and go head over to Oslo, Stockholm and Copenhagen while you’re in that part of the world. Easy to travel between cities train, air or boat. Nice hotels and world class food.

@markjenney We ‘live’ abroad 1-2 months p/year with our kids every year (new country each year), and Copenhagen was easily our best one. My 8 & 5 year olds have been to 25 & 17 countries respectively and nothing has beat CPH yet.

@markjenney Many options out there but Hawaiian islands and Switzerland definitely fit the bill. Spend a couple weeks on each Hawaiian island. Switzerland is safe, beautiful and enough for everyone to do. Mild weather, easy hikes & swimmable lakes make it an easy choice.
