@toniievych Nice! We probably had the same idea few years ago then 🙂 That's what the Single Meta is doing too (compressing metadata into one single db row). Less flexible than the demo above, as it requires some tweaks for WP_Query, but extremely effective in terms of performance

@ACFExtended That's a good idea. I was thinking about something similar two years ago but decided to implement the data serialization for the Flexible Content, Repeater, and Group fields instead.

@nkatsambiris @MarcoEscher Hey! The Block Editor field is part of the ACF Extended Pro package. If you use the free version it's normal that you don't see it.

@ACFExtended @MarcoEscher How do you enable the block editor field. I've updated to the latest version but don't see it as an option when selecting the field type dropdown?

@khromov Well, like other ACF Fields, the Block Editor will take the space you're willing to give it, thru its metabox. The fullscreen mode would be Gutenberg itself.

@razendnet I'm not fully convinced by Gutenberg either as of now. However, it's doing a pretty good job as a modern WYSIWYG editor alternative, like here. Might be worth to give it a try!

@ACFExtended Still don’t understand that people enjoy working with Gutenberg. The UX is just so extremely terrible

@ACFExtended @daysoftheyear Update: Finished. 30 minutes from zero to blocks. I've built this sort of thing from scratch, by hand previously, and I'll never do it again. Much easier to manage block callbacks, templates and enqueues via @ACFExtended.

Currently playing with @ACFExtended to build custom WP content blocks (for a timeline component on @daysoftheyear). It's delightful to work with, and embarrassingly easy to use. Had expected this to take all morning; it's taken *minutes* and I'm almost finished.
