Today at Nakasero, I met Mr. Aliko Dangote and we discussed the proposed East African regional refinery. I informed him that from the very beginning, we have always opposed the export of raw materials without value addition. That is why Uganda delayed oil production because we insisted on first having a refinery. Without refining our oil, it would not make economic or strategic sense to simply export crude oil while others benefit from the finished products. I, therefore, welcomed the idea of a bigger regional refinery because our objective is African integration and shared prosperity. We cannot continue operating as fragmented and weak markets. If East Africa works together, such projects become more viable and beneficial to our people. Uganda is ready to support the regional refinery initiative while also continuing with the development of our own refinery in Hoima.

These were: the Presidential, the Parliamentary, District Chairpersons, District Councillors, Sub-County Chairpersons and Sub-County Councillors. I, especially, congratulate our party, the NRM, for winning all those elections with big majorities. I also congratulate the other parties such as the DP, UPC, etc., that participated in the elections without using violence unlike the Party of NUP and some few elements of FDC, that were using violence. The parties under IPOD should clearly lay out agreed guidelines on the dos and don’ts of election management, according to the laws and the constitution of Uganda.

This is Mbuya Newly Built @MODVA_UPDF Headquarters ministry of Defence within two years since @cdfupdf Gen Muhoozi entered in the office and stopped corruption which senior officers were using to steal Updf public funds and divert it for Airtime then it ends into their pockets. Gen Mk managed to collect that money without any additional money then he used it to build Headquarters and specialised Hospital.

The leader of most corrupt institution called @Parliament_Ug Hon @AnitahAmong built this house in her village Bukedea where she forced over 350 families to sell their ancestral homes for her to use the land including removal of graves of their deceased Relatives. The compound is in 50 acres and mini Airstrip then Golf course and Animal farms like cattle and Goats 🐐 using our Taxpayers money. All these things were done within 4 years after the death of late Speaker Oulanyah. QUESTION here Are Ugandans mad to allow @AnitahAmong to continue doing this while she is stealing from our Taxpayers Money? I want to see your corncerns in the comment section thank you.

H.E. President @KagutaMuseveni has bid farewell to H.E. Gabriela Jiménez Ramírez, Vice President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, following her visit to Uganda for the swearing-in ceremony. Before her departure, H.E. Gabriela Jiménez Ramírez paid a courtesy call on the President at State House Entebbe. The President thanked her for honouring Uganda’s invitation and for representing the Government and people of Venezuela at this important national occasion. Their meeting also provided an opportunity to exchange views on the current situation in Venezuela and to discuss ways of strengthening diplomatic and bilateral cooperation between Uganda and Venezuela. Uganda wishes H.E. Gabriela Jiménez Ramírez a safe journey back home and looks forward to continued friendship and cooperation between the two countries.

H.E. @KagutaMuseveni received H.E. Manuel Osa Nsue Nsua, Prime Minister of Equatorial Guinea, and H.E. George Akume, Secretary to the Government of the Federation of Nigeria, for courtesy visits following the inauguration ceremony. In my third meeting at Entebbe, I received my brother, H.E. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, who has joined us for tomorrow’s swearing-in ceremony. I appreciate his visit and the spirit of brotherhood and cooperation that continues to strengthen the relations between Uganda and Somalia . I warmly welcome him to Uganda and wish him a fruitful stay.

With my small money, I will treat myself with modesty, appreciate the little blessings, and celebrate the fact that I am still steadily standing and moving forward. I choose thankfulness, contentment, and a peaceful heart. 🙏

I just want to enjoy the rest of my years in peace, positivity, and gratitude. I am letting go of unnecessary negativity and the burden of overthinking what did not go as planned. Life is too precious to spend it in regret.

Today, I chaired the final Cabinet meeting of the outgoing government and later hosted members to a luncheon in appreciation of their dedicated service to our country. This is the Cabinet that ushered Uganda into middle-income status, and I thank everyone who contributed to this achievement, including the Cabinet Secretariat for effectively managing the business of cabinet. I thank them all and wish them good luck.
