At some point, Black people need to learn how not to be triggered and manipulated by mainstream media. They keep you in a perpetual state of outrage that serves no purpose. Honestly, the worst things said directly to you probably came from the mouth of another black person.

@_Jamie_W_ @901Lulu That's the era I grew-up in, but one time I had to leave a friend. I called my dad to pick me up. The dilemma was whether to tell him where she was so he could go get her. But by the grace of God, she came running by the time I made it to the elevator.

This is day 2 of the search for James ‘Jimmy’ Gracey (20) in Barcelona, Spain. He is a University of Alabama student that went missing while visiting friends studying abroad. This picture was taken sometime before he vanished on Tuesday around 3am from Shoko nightclub. This club is directly on the beachfront. Jimmy’s friend left the club and Jimmy decided to stay later. Jimmy did not return to the Airbnb he had booked for his stay.💔 Jimmy’s cellphone is in possession of the Catalon Police. Family and local sources revealed the phone was recovered after police made an unrelated arrest of another individual in the area. Investigators are forensically analyzing the phone, looking for GPS data, last sent text messages, and any activity after 3:40am on Tuesday when he was last seen. Local residents are asked to check for CCTV footage in the Vila Olímpica neighborhood from around that time. The U.S. Sun spoke to a family member this morning. They confirmed James’s father, Taras, has now arrived in Barcelona to meet with police and help with the search. His mother, Terese, is set to fly out today to join him. I can only imagine what his parents must be going through right now. The whole thing is heartbreaking. Where is Jimmy Gracey?! #MissingPerson

ICYMI: Republicans BLOCKED my bill to fund TSA. Republicans are punishing travelers and forcing TSA agents to work without pay because they want to cut another blank check for ICE & Border Patrol. It's shameful.

Da’Quain Johnson’s mother had to walk into a Grand Rapids city meeting and say that out loud because this system still refuses to treat her son’s life as worthy of justice. Her child was chased off a bicycle, mauled by a K‑9 and shot in the back, and weeks later the officer who killed him is still on paid leave, still unnamed, still uncharged. Michigan State Police have already done their job and delivered the case file. The Kent County prosecutor’s office is hiding behind “we need more information” instead of giving this family a straight answer and filing criminal charges. Delay is not neutrality; delay is protection for a killer in uniform. While officials talk about “healing” and “policy review,” this mother is forced to relive her son’s death in public just to ask for what should be automatic: name the officer, fire the officer, prosecute the officer. Justice here is not complicated, it means full transparency, criminal charges, and real consequences for the officer who pulled the trigger.
