Even more notably... likely to be neck and neck with 2024 as the warmest February to April period in the CET record. The relatively cooler January brings it down in the January-April period to at least 5th warmest. This period in 2007 was at least 0.4C warmer.

Yet another 10C+ CET April. Getting used to these. The third one this decade alone (though worth noting the 1940s had 4 Aprils that did this). March/April 2026 likely to be the 4th warmest such period since 1659 with only 2011, 2007 and 2025 warmer.
