@dennizor It's either bloat via information or exhaustion via action unless you possess an uncommon ability to focus on moderately-difficult tasks for extended periods

AI Chat is a Great Bundling.
Throughout time, platforms have been 'bundling' by unifying a broad set of use cases into one product. Facebook brought media to a single feed and Amazon unified retail. AI chat has gone even farther to unify work and learning. But with each bundling, there will be an unbundling.
Unbundling happens when folks build extremely high-quality experiences for specific use cases- so much better- that users actually switch away from the bundled solution. But what's better than AI chat for, let's say, learning math? Well, have you ever watched 3Blue1Brown on YouTube? The visuals communicate the math so deeply that you 'get it' much faster than reading words and equations.
Sure, AI can generate interfaces. But can OpenAI *the team* generate interfaces for *everything* better than every individual dedicated to a specific use case? Not unless they hold models 10x more powerful to their chest. There will be all kinds of makers imagining immersive experiences for every little job- learning, creating, consuming, purchasing, and experiencing.
And what will these experiences be like? I believe they will trend towards multimodal, multi-sensory worlds. They will speak to you through storytelling, beautiful visuals, and real-time interactivity. They will have to be that good. Why else would someone use a niche tool to do something themselves rather than outsourcing it to AI?
I believe people will reach for tools over AI when it offers them the chance to be more human. To experience deep connection to their creativity, their world, and their people. It's actually harder to make things by hand. There will be all the struggles of living and creating that we face as humans. But this is the journey that gives us meaning.
Perhaps one day we will choose to create by hand because it is good for us. Because it is joyous. Because as we create, we discover ourselves. And so what we end up creating becomes a reflection of our journey- Our journey to make a unique imprint on the world- so unique, in fact, that we realize that it could have never been made without us. No other human or AI can understand the multitudes of who we are becoming.
AI will give us whatever we ask for, but it will never give us what we truly want. That is something that we must create for ourselves. And so, perhaps, as we become enlightened, as we molt through this phase of abundance, we might once again reach for the challenge. We might reach for tools to create, and in doing so, create ourselves.

Who else was around for Runescape when you had the option to pick Low Detail or High Detail, and play right on the web browser on a fixed window with ads everywhere?
I started in 2005, as a kid who didnt have a job and was too scared to ask my parents for a membership so I just mostly fished lobs in f2p and sold them at Varrock west Bank
"flash2: Selling lobs 200c each !"
What are some of your most distant memories playing the game back then?

Most agencies just clip your old content. We’re not an agency. We’re a full service, white glove, viral machine.
>20,000 creators ready to make your content (UGC, Slideshows, Memes, Green screen, etc).
You own it.
We distribute it. We scale it.
You go viral.
All for a flat CPM.
In just a few months, we've driven over a BILLION views by actually creating culture not just reposting it.
Stop hoping for viral. Lock it in with Zagged.
