I've seen so many arguments about who's "winning" the war, and it really comes down to how you define winning in this is asymmetric conflict: An Elephant can crush mosquitos like they're nothing but the swarm won't stop biting. You repeatedly and easily beat the crap out of your neighbor but it doesn't stop him from sleeping with your wife over and over again. Who's winning these wars? The mosquitos? Your neighbor? The US? Iran? 🤔

Panther Lake efficiency on Linux is unbelievably good. Commonly seeing just 3w draw on this new machine I'm testing with an IPS panel on basic typing. And an estimated 16 hours in mixed use with this 74wh battery. Intel really delivered this round!

Super happy we'll be able to ship Omarchy 3.5 fully optimized for Panther Lake before the new machines are even shipping in volume. @Intel and @Dell have been superb partners. Omarchy will have all the tricks, like thermald, lpmd, webcam drivers, 6.19.9 patched kernel in box.

One more sign post. Tell aviv stock index which made a new high in first 3 days of this war is now at 1 months low … down -4.75%. Although one day does not make a trend but I have always believe that markets discount the future.

First few days into this war it looked like gold was being sold to fund oil and margin losses — markets increasingly confident of a U.S. win. Now, price action suggests US Treasuries and US megacaps are being sold instead, as faith in a U.S. victory starts to fade.
