TESLA AFTER A SPACEX IPO Many analysts assume a static pie — i.e. a scarcity mindset. They think a SpaceX IPO hurts Tesla longterm by splitting Elon’s (and investors’) attention. They somehow forgot that Elon Musk built both Tesla & SpaceX simultaneously to trillion-plus valuations. Tesla has always been volatile, a SpaceX IPO is just this week’s excuse. Traders make money from volatility. These analysts are ALREADY WRONG. Within 3 months of AJ’s doomsday 2/25 analysis, Tesla & SpaceX are deepening a mutually beneficial partnership. This isn’t a zero-sum game. Instead of each company remaining on a trajectory to be an $8 Trillion company, Elon Musk leveled up to a new 100 Trillion market cap goal. Instead of competition between Musk companies and divided loyalty, Elon Musk has tasked Tesla/SpaceX/xAI with one audacious mission: remove the constraint of Earth and its limited resources by kick-starting a true Space Economy flywheel. Digital Optimus, the Terafab and AI Space Compute are just the start. A SpaceX IPO primes the flywheel with initial operating cash. This is the biggest undertaking in human history — an investment opportunity that could exceed today’s Earth economy by 10x, 100x, or even 100,000x. What’s the actual limit once humanity goes galactic? The “Elon Musk community” doesn’t split — it gets stronger as the mission converges. 🧵 Next, don’t ignore the early signals & kick yourself later

Given that I have built two companies in widely different fields to trillion dollar plus valuations simultaneously, I am might be getting a few things right once in a while

You just told him you don’t want to be called it and then he goes ahead to classify you as that - ie it isn’t about not caring about others feelings at all. He is the triggered one. Moms is way more inclusive as it actually includes any type of mom - including those that adopted or are step moms.

I’m not the “gestating parent”. I’m the mom. I’m the mother. I’m the mommy. I’m the womb my son has been living in for the last 9 months. I’m the mama bear who gets to meet her cub soon. I am so repulsed at this idea of the term being changed to gestating parent. What is happening to our country?

She just told you she found it offensive, but you still call her it. IE you are the insensitive a**hole who doesn’t care about the feelings of others. How about you switch that around. Others can be called whatever they want. And our legal terms remain the same. I don’t understand what your point even is? Your offensive term would shame a mom who adopted or a step mom, as not being the “gestating mom”. It is the OPPOSITE of inclusive. Moms are moms. Ellie is a mom and wants to be called a mom, the same way it has been done thousands of years. America is over the PC nonsense and who’s ever claims the most offense wins. And you can call yourself whatever you like, but you can’t change how I want to be called. That is my right, and yours end when they trample on mine.

@esherifftv Why are people so easily triggered. In your personal life you can be called mommy or whatever you want. But legally if you were married to a woman instead of a man or two men with a child traditionally (old fashioned) term are ambiguous- this is simply a more accurate description

He is responsible for what he says - not what others say or think. And this is what he said. 👇 He went out of his way many, many times to assuage their perpetual victimhood. Are they all teenage girls gossiping - and in a clique?? XAI is apparently the mean girls club. The first rule of fight club is don’t talk about fight club. What’s right, not who’s right, is the mantra of effective teams. This is not normal. He LEFT. He can speak to what he did, what he knows and what he worked on. And he CAN and SHOULD stop saying I love this team - because we can ALL TELL what it would be like working with them. We would have left after six months too… no matter how much we loved the work, because some things - like dealing with toxic backstabbing people - aren’t worth it. XAI has a serious culture problem.

while true, Amy. the issue was ethan not correcting the assumption that he had led the team, thus seeming to take credit for the project, which now is understood as perhaps the sota video-gen model. ethan was in the project a relatively short time compared to these folks. good work, everyone!

Huge respect to @Guodzh and @imhaotian and everyone on the team for building a culture focused on solving hard problems, shipping better models, and improving usability and user experience. Ideas are cheap, talking is easy, and titles/narratives are easy after the fact. Being solid and making things actually work is the hard part.
Guodong Zhang@Guodzh

@EthanHe_42 worked with me and @imhaotian for half a year on Grok Imagine. I don't think he was being intentional overclaiming here, but the internet narrative quoting him as the "lead" was werid. It was really driven by @imhaotian most of the time. Good times — especially that intense three-month sprint at the start. Huge credit goes to @imhaotian and several other key people like @zeliu_ @jathushan @ZhibeiM @hexiang @JackCaiXun @chaitu, and later @jia_xuhui @YknZhu, along with many others — especially the latest Grok Imagine 1.5.

@sa_futurist @John14049 @TeslaPrice It is indicative of how Schwab would vote on a merger. They seemingly care little for doing what’s right. The other companies all took the assignment of a retail allocation seriously Schwab did not. I will still buy SpaceX - IPO shares or not.

Confirmed I’m ineligible with Schwab for COTP for SPCX IPO allocation. I only have $50k with them after moving holdings over how they handled the Elon vote debacle. Sounds like their minimum is $100k of holdings unless something changes. Here is the link if you’re eligible: client.schwab.com/app/trade/ipo/

Important Elon statements in this… - clear 100k sats statement - means 100x bandwidth minimum. - “ai sats easier than connectivity sats”- this is due to the architecture not requiring power hungry and sensitive antenna payloads. Chips want more power, but relatively straightforward thermodynamic architectures. - “has gotten more chill from experience” - “reason for ipo, entering a rapid growth phase that requires capital… and revenues are far more predictable than they’ve been in the past”

MYTH BUSTING: SPACEXAI IPO EDITION Does Jim Cramer EVER learn from his past mistakes? Current evidence say maybe not. He - and a lot of keyboard analysts - throw around false narratives: MYTH ONE: All potential upside is priced in. REALITY: The real metric is what SpaceXAI current and future businesses are included in Wall Street models? What aren’t? And do you believe Elon Musk can execute on these plans that aren’t? The biggest alpha for retail is the valuation gap - Wall Street models are still very conservative. As an investor in Elon Musk since Tesla’s 2010 IPO, the market repeatedly underprices the execution on seemingly impossible plans until the revenue shows up. If Elon Musk and his talented team execute on his plans (see next post) - then there is potential upside measured in the trillions - even a hundred trillion - in market cap. MYTH TWO: Investors have had no chance to realize paper profits. REALITY: SpaceX offered regular liquidity events through tender offers and secondary sales. MYTH THREE: A company that has grown 35x in value can’t grow more…. REALITY: There are zero laws of physics that support an arbitrary valuation cap- see Nvidia - or Alphabet (also doing a share issuance but for 80 Billion, not 75 Billion) - or Walmart that has returned over 1,000,000% since IPO. Tesla has returned a staggering 41.98% PER YEAR since its IPO. You read that right. Wall Street and keyboard analysts also said iTSLA would not do well. Cramer as a contra-indicator was coined by Elon Musk Cramer scoffed at the Tesla IPO. He was wrong. Cramer just came out as Bearish on SpaceXAI too…. So this is a good sign. Cramer hasn’t learned: Don’t bet against Elon Musk. 🧵 Next: SPACEX UPSIDE

@John14049 @TeslaPrice I am not moving money to Schwab but out of it, because two weeks ago they said I didn’t have to move money around given my large balances on my other Schwab accounts. So now I am transferring money it will be to the other brokerages.

@G14821285 @TeslaPrice But all the other retail brokerage firms have no limits or just $2000. The difference is enormous. Schwab is standing out on a horrible manner and angering their loyal customers. Who is in charge? Did they wake up and decide let’s see how many customers we can lose today?

I hear some people say Space X IPO pricing is too high of a valuation with current products and services only. That’s how a Wall st financial modeler thinks. You don’t evaluate a growth company w p/e and ebidta because it’s investing in the vision and mgmt to create value beyond what’s here today. The TAM in space business is unknown. To say right now it’s too high is pure math. And guess what? That’s what they said about Tesla and even Apple when it hit 1T. People overlook and fail to analyze on the mgmt team and future roadmap. So little analysis on the qualitative aspect of the business is done.

@Amy787 @teslaownersSV I was a TD Ameritrade customer. After Charles Schwab acquired them, they effectively pushed out retail investors in 2023, requiring everyone to move their accounts elsewhere. So I know from experience that they’re not great.

SCHWAB IS THE WORST POSSIBLE BROKERAGE See what stands out in the chart below? Schwab is NOT honoring the Spirit of the SpaceX IPO and its 30% retail allocation. While others companies have no minimum balance (E*trade & Robinhood) or $2000 (Fidelity) - Schwab has 50,000x that - a minimum $100,000 in an individual trading account with them. Money in other banks - even other types of Schwab accounts? Schwab ignores it! Schwab is trying to block out retail when the ENTIRE REASON they got a SpaceX IPO allocation at all was FOR RETAIL INVESTORS. E*TRADE is giving priority to long term Tesla investors. Schwab is not. I have continuously held Tesla in a Schwab account since 2010. But that doesn’t matter to Schwab, because Schwab doesn’t care what SpaceX wants, Schwab is giving access to the SpaceX given to just a select few of their wealthiest clients… Schwab you need to do a search of how many Tesla investors you are shutting out from the SpaceX IPO. It will be a costly decision. Tesla investors are organized. Investors in Elon Musk: Consider this when you decide which brokerage to use. Schwab is the worst possible choice. I will be moving my money in the very near future. @spacex @elonmusk

Good news for long-term $TSLA investors who want @SpaceX IPO shares: E*TRADE says it has established a supplemental IPO share allocation process for Tesla shareholders who have held $TSLA shares in their account for at least 10 years and elect to participate in the IPO. E*Trade: "Clients who meet this profile and are otherwise eligible to participate in the IPO in accordance with Firm and regulatory requirements and submit a COB will be eligible to receive allocations through this process, in addition to any allocations they may receive as part of the general allocation process based on overall demand and the number of shares available to the Firm. If you elect to participate, please submit a COB through the usual process. Please note that submitting a COB does not guarantee an allocation, and any allocation may be less than the amount requested or may not be received. This is not a solicitation or recommendation to participate in the IPO or otherwise." E*Trade is emailing this message directly to long-term $TSLA shareholders right now.
