Whatever comes after is based on the grievance that their mod list had to be hosted by a company that needs to actively deal with revenue and payouts, and therefore either will not convert anyone due to lack there-of, or be really weird.

@2Toxic2Built @QuantumV3 What if we had a website to find mods that links directly to their source and also hosts builds and also cool things like a Maven for mod developers to help them build their mods against other mods and it even was built in to Prism Launcher so you could find mods in the launcher

@QuantumV3 Prism launcher (everyone should've been using it anyways, it's leagues better than any other launcher) and downloading the mods directly from Github or wherever the developer uploads the source (if possible) is the best way

@tinybnuuy @MrNameless_666 nobody would use modrinth if it did not have a rewards program because curseforge has one and most of their money goes to paying people. therefore, they have to have a company to handle all that money. it is incredibly simple.
