What to do instead? Among other things, keep existing forests healthy so they can continue to act as carbon sinks, removing carbon from the atmosphere through photosynthesis and storing it in trees and soils bit.ly/3xDs6VS



This project kills me, @VaDOTNOVA @VaDOT. Turn lanes could be created using existing pavement NOW, saving 18 trees (heads up @ArlTreeAction), 1.6 acres of permeable land, $29M, and dozens of lives. Not a smart project. Please rethink.
