I-81 North traffic detours at exit 245 (Port Republic Road). Northbound entrance ramp is closed at exit 247 (Market Street).

The FloydFest 2026 music festival will be held at 5826 Floyd Highway North from July 22-26. Drivers should use RT 8 & RT 221 as access gateways to Floyd County from I-77, I-81, & RT 220. Expect higher traffic volumes and congestion throughout the area and in the Town of Floyd.
