Generative Goods physical cards are meant to be collected and traded. Issue is right now these one-of-a-kind artworks can really only be traded in person - so we’re thrilled to host our first card swap meetup at @Ledger Paris with @ArtBlocksEngine 📷 Feb 12 | 1PM 📷 Cards on hand 📷 Full sets to view 📷 More surprises! Don’t miss it—link to the invite in our bio! 📷📷

EVENT by @BernarVenetArt and @dotjiwa releases today at 2pm EST. Learn more with @Sothebys at sothebys.com/en/digital-cat….
jiwa@dotjiwa

Ok, let's get into it ⚡️ I’ve been working with Bernar Venet for over a year, helping him bring his larger than life sculptures into a fully generative on-chain 3D world wrapped in my digitally native aesthetic. There a lot to share, so let's start at the beginning... Who is Bernar Venet? Bernar is a legendary conceptual artist, creating for over 60 years in the contemporary art world. He’s been using mathematics and randomness since the 1960’s, as part of the school of minimalism in New York. He's credited with the tallest public art sculpture in the world, Arc Majeur, and its just one of many large-scale works around the globe. He’s exhibited work alongside Sol LeWitt, Donald Judd, Carl Andre, Dan Flavin, and many other legends. He was actually best friends with Sol Lewitt, who spent his winters in the South of France at Bernar’s foundation in Le Muy. Bernar is one of nicest, enthusiastic, and boundary pushing individuals I’ve ever met. He truly belongs here in the generative space, with us. There is so much to dig into and learn about Bernar and his groundbreaking work. EVENT is in collaboration with Bernar and his team, myself, @RiverXArt and @violukprojects Learn more about Bernar, our project, and relevance to our generative world, in the link commented below. VENET EVENT, releasing on Thursday, is a collaboration between Art Blocks Engine, @Sothebys @Sothebysverse @BernarVenetArt and @ntentart. Learn more at sothebys.com/en/digital-cat… '“Event” allows me to multiply the collapses from mathematical constructions, because the subject of mathematics continues, in a totally new way, to be a source of expressivity. In this activity, I discovered the possibility of using computational algorithms. I’m thinking about this idea of extension and expansion. How can I go beyond what I have been allowed to create so far?" - Bernar Venet
