@jmotivator @ingelramdecoucy I spent a few decades in the "Mensa" world, and the vast majority were fools with pieces of paper. They spoke as though they knew what they were talking about, but it was a massive circle jerk like the "big accounts" are on X.

@ingelramdecoucy One of my early IT jobs was working as a desktop support person for a major university in DC. I worked with many dozen people with PhDs. I assume most of them knew quite a lot about their narrow field of expertise, but they knew almost nothing else.

@LoganWisc It's pretty rare tbh, we see people barely yielding at stop signs all the time in cities, but when you are out "in the sticks" with nothing going on, it seems enforcing the boredom laws happens.

I have a problem and its name is Wisconsin. A thread. I hate Wisconsin. It’s like you took the absolute worst stereotypes of red states and blue states and mushed them together to create a Sheboygan hard role except dummer. The Madison libs are a walking talking Portlandia skit and the Republicans are all fat and on the verge of a very racist heart attack. Everything you heard about Wisconsin is true.

@jmotivator Doesn't matter the video type for me... I truly dislike the whole "in this episode/video the first 30 seconds shows the main highlights". I enjoy long-form content, but it's like creators just want us to click through and go to the "most replayed part" so they lose retention.
