People say, what’s the point of voting, they all say one thing do another. That’s the reason to vote - hold them accountable. If they get away with everything because they know people won’t vote then they will. Your vote, every vote matters.

On Carnaby Street last night, a kid on a bike cycled up, saw it was me, looked friendly at first then offered up his favourite “lyric”: “Heil Hitler.” I wasn’t sure whether to share this. “WESTMINSTER WOBBLE: Rayner’s night at Strangers’ Bar leaves MPs stunned” 🍺 🍷 It was meant to be just another evening in Parliament but Angela Rayner ended up being the talk of Westminster after a long night in Strangers’ Bar. Earlier in the evening, witnesses say she got into a heated political debate and “wasn’t holding back”, at one point reportedly shouting: “I’m a socialist.” But it was what happened as she left that really got people talking. Onlookers claim Rayner staggered into the main door with a loud bang, leaving her bent over for a moment from the impact. The door was taken out the next day for repairs although officials insist that wasn’t linked to the incident. One person in the bar described her as “absolutely obliterated”. Since then, a privacy screen has been put up at the entrance shielding MPs from view as they come and go. Just another night in Westminster… but one that’s definitely raised eyebrows. But should MPs be allowed to unwind like the rest of us after a long day!

We (nearly) all say we would ‘kill’ somebody that killed our child - in real life it’s not really a thing. But I am in awe of @drsanjoykumar who is factually, forensically, openly and legally holding the establishment and individuals to account. A dad fighting for his daughter

Leaders: if you are still doing or planning a "mocksted" or mock inspection of any kind, you should not do that. I get that ofsted anxiety is high and legitimate. Genuinely. But this isnt the way. It's totally toxic, and I 100% guarantee staff will not see it the way you do, however much you say "don't do anything differently" or "this isn't for ofsted, it's developmental." Trust me. Other routes to school improvement are available.
