@Cheesewright3 The debate has arisen within the NI support a few times. As a campaign card holder I would be happy with our own unique anthem. Ironically, the biggest oppostion will come from many who have never been to a NI game and those stoking the arguement would never support NI ever.

If NI adopted our own anthem for internationals it wouldn't be a concession to anyone. GSTK is the national anthem and that won't change but something distinct to us would add something to the occasion.

Items such as these may have huge sentimental value and are often wrapped up in memories and strong emotion. Imagine seeing images of yourself wearing such a pendant being used in order to link you to a crime that itself is traumatic for you. The BBC is playing with people's emotions as part of a very ugly campaign against a strong woman her opponents still fear and loathe in equal measure.
