Free and fair elections are the cornerstone of our democracy. But right now, they’re under attack. Several Republican-controlled states have redrawn their congressional maps to give themselves an unfair advantage in the midterm elections. Now Virginia has a chance to help level the playing field. If you live in the Commonwealth, early voting begins March 6, and Election Day is on April 21. Vote YES.

"She ate lunch alone for 730 days straight. What this 16-year-old built from that pain now protects millions of kids worldwide. Seventh grade. Natalie Hampton carried her tray through a packed cafeteria and felt it — that specific, suffocating dread of not knowing where to go. She'd already learned what happened when you approached the wrong table. The silence. The turned backs. The whispered laughter that followed you all the way to the empty table by the wall. The one everyone could see. The one that said: nobody wants her. For two full years — 730 consecutive lunches — that table was hers. Alone. The bullying went further than whispers. She was shoved into lockers. Four physical attacks in two weeks. She came home with scratches and bruises. When she finally reported it, school administrators sent her to counseling — to find out what she was doing wrong. The isolation grew so heavy she was hospitalized for anxiety. Then ninth grade came. A new school. And almost overnight — everything changed. Students welcomed her. She made friends within weeks. She finally knew what safe felt like. But she couldn't stop thinking about the kids still sitting at the wall table. Right now. Today. She remembered what she'd needed most during all those lunches. Not a teacher. Not a pamphlet. Just one person saying: "You can sit with us." So at 16 — with zero coding experience and "a lot of enthusiasm," as she put it — Natalie built exactly that. She called it Sit With Us. The idea was simple and genius: students sign up as "ambassadors," keeping their table open. Other kids privately browse available tables on their phones before ever walking into the cafeteria — and show up knowing they're already welcome. No public rejection. No moment of judgment. Just a guaranteed seat. Within 7 days of launching: 10,000 downloads. Then the world found her. NPR. The Washington Post. CBS News. Messages from Morocco, Australia, the Philippines, France — kids who'd been eating alone for years, finally finding a place to belong. Sit With Us now operates in 30 countries. "Even if it helps one person," Natalie said quietly, "it was worth building." She turned 730 lunches of loneliness into a lifeline for millions. That's not just survival. That's transformation." * Kindly Therapy

Arthur, an 88-year-old Vietnam veteran, sat in his wheelchair in the back of the courtroom. His wife was gone, he had no children, and his small house was falling apart. He'd been cited for code violations he couldn't afford to fix—a broken porch, peeling paint, and a leaking roof. The judge, a 65-year-old man known for his stern, "by-the-book" rulings, called his case. Arthur listened, his hands trembling, as the city attorney listed the violations and the thousands in fines. When the attorney formally requested the court's permission to condemn the property if the fines weren't paid, the finality of it hit him. This was it. He was losing his home. The judge began to speak. "Mr. Harris, the city is asking for... " He stopped. He just looked at the frail old man, who had now buried his face in his hands, his shoulders shaking in a silent, heartbreaking sob. The courtroom went quiet. The judge, his own face tightening with emotion, looked conflicted. "We will take a 15-minute recess," he announced abruptly, banging his gavel. When he returned, the courtroom was buzzing. The judge looked not at the attorneys, but directly at Arthur. "Mr. Harris," the judge said, his voice softer now. "I spent my recess on the phone. I have spoken with the director of the local VFW, who is a friend of mine, and with our county's Veterans' fund. All fines are hereby dismissed." Arthur looked up, his face a mask of stunned disbelief. "Furthermore," the judge continued, "a local contractor's union has already pledged to do all the repairs, pro bono, starting next week." This second wave of kindness was too much. Arthur, who had been crying from despair, now broke down in tears of overwhelming relief. The judge then did something no one had ever seen. He stepped down from his high bench, walked directly to the wheelchair, and pulled the old soldier into a full, strong hug. As Arthur wept into the judge's robe, he whispered, his voice trembling, "I... I didn't think anybody cared anymore." The judge held him tighter and whispered back, his voice thick: "We do. I do. You served us. We don't forget that." Credit to the rightful owner

YOU WANTED A WALL, TRUMP? YOU’LL HAVE ONE. Mexico’s president, Claudia Sheinbaum, responded to Trump’s threats: “So you voted to build a wall. Well then, dear Americans — even if geography isn’t your strong suit, and you see America as a country rather than a continent — you should know that on the other side of that wall stand 7 billion people. And if the word ‘people’ doesn’t resonate with you, let’s call them ‘consumers.’ Those 7 billion consumers can switch from iPhone to Samsung or Huawei in less than two days. They can trade Levi’s for Zara or Massimo Dutti, and within six months replace Ford and Chevrolet with Toyota, KIA, Mazda, Honda, Hyundai, Volvo, Subaru, Renault, or BMW — brands that are already more popular in many places. They can cancel DirecTV. And even if they choose not to, they can stop watching Hollywood films and turn instead to higher-quality productions from Latin America or Europe — with richer storytelling and better filmmaking. Believe it or not, people can skip Disney and visit the Xcaret resort in Cancún instead — or explore destinations across Mexico, Canada, or South America. Even in Mexico, you can find better burgers than McDonald’s — with higher nutritional value. Have you ever seen pyramids in the United States? Egypt, Mexico, Peru, Guatemala, and Sudan have ancient wonders — none of them in the U.S. If they were, Trump would probably have bought and resold them by now. We know Nike isn’t the only sneaker brand. There’s Adidas — and even Mexican brands like Panama. We understand economics better than you think. And we also know that when those 7 billion consumers stop buying American products, unemployment will rise, and your economy — trapped behind its own self-imposed wall — will begin to collapse to the point where you’ll be begging for help. We didn’t want to do this. But you wanted a wall? Well. You’ve got one.” Her approval rating has reached a historic level — according to a recent poll, it stands at 85%.

BREAKING: BRAVO! Stephen Colbert defies his corporate bosses and reveals that CBS REFUSED to air his interview with Democratic Senate candidate James Talarico due to bullying by Trump’s FCC! It would appear that Trump and his team are very, very, very worried about losing the critical Senate race in *Texas* of all places, and they’re trying to put the clamps on the candidate they think can win — Rep. James Talarico. Hot off the heels of a viral appearance on The View where he showcased his eloquence and his leadership, Talarico was set to do The Late Show with Colbert…but Trump’s FCC stepped in to block it, telling the Colbert team that they could only release the interview on YouTube. “You know, you know who is not one of my guests tonight? That's Texas State Representative James Talarico. He was supposed to be here, but we were told in no uncertain terms by our network's lawyers, who called us directly, that we could not have him on the broadcast. Then, then I was told in some uncertain terms that not only could I not have him on, I could not mention me not having him on,” explains Colbert. “And because my network clearly doesn't want us to talk about this, let's talk about this. So, you might have heard of this thing called the Equal Time Rule, okay? It's an old FCC rule that applies only to radio and broadcast television, not cable or streaming, that says if a show has a candidate on during an election, they have to have all that candidate's opponents on as well.” “It's the FCC's most time-honored rule, right after no nipples at the Super Bowl. There's long been an exception for this rule, an exception for news interviews and talk show interviews with politicians. Now, that's crucial.” “How else were voters supposed to know back in 92 that Bill Clinton sucked at saxophone? But, on January 21st of this year, a letter was released by FCC Chairman and smug bowling pin Brendan Carr. In this letter, Carr said he was thinking about dropping the exception for talk shows because he said some of them were motivated by partisan purposes. Well, sir, you're chairman of the FCC, so FCC you.” Then Colbert REALLY laid into Trump and his authoritarian efforts to police speech: “Let's just call this what it is. Donald Trump's administration wants to silence anyone who says anything bad about Trump on TV because all Trump does is watch TV. Okay? He's like a toddler with too much screen time.” “He gets cranky and then drops a load in his diapers. So, it's no surprise, it's no surprise that two of the people most affected by this threat are me and my friend Jimmy Kimmel. When this letter dropped, we both talked about the letter on air, and then later, Carr defended it like this.” “If Kimmel or Colbert want to continue to do their programming, and they don't want to have to comply with this requirement, then they can go to a cable channel or podcast or a streaming service and that's fine. Great idea, man whose job is to regulate broadcast TV. Suggest everyone just leave broadcast TV.” “I can't interview James Talarico. I can't show any pictures of James Talarico. I'm not even sure I can say the words James Talarico.” “But what I can show you is what we always show when we have to pull material at the last minute. This tasteful nude of Brendan Carr!” Alarm bells should be ringing in the office of every elected Democrat, television executive, civil rights activist, and concerned citizen in America. This is a blatant effort by the Trump administration to censor speech, install a state-sanctioned media regime and meddle in our elections by keeping Democrats from being able to engage with mass audiences. Well, it’s not going to work. Let’s make sure Colbert’s interview goes mega-viral, win the Texas Senate seat, and take kick every last Trumper out of office!

BREAKING: Attorney General Bondi admits under oath that her DOJ hired a Jan. 6 traitor who yelled “KILL THEM!” at police during the insurrection. If you wanted a snapshot of the Trump Justice Department in 2026, Rep. Joe Neguse (D-CO) just provided it. In a jaw-dropping exchange at today’s congressional hearing, Neguse played police body-cam footage from January 6th showing a man screaming, “Yeah! Kill them!” at Capitol Police officers. “Attorney General Bondi,” Neguse asked calmly, “that man works for you now, right?” After a moment of confusion, Bondi admitted it: yes, Jared Wise — a man indicted on multiple felonies related to the Capitol attack, including assaulting law enforcement — now works at the Department of Justice. Bondi’s defense? “I believe he was pardoned by President Trump.” Let that sink in. A man caught on video yelling “kill him” at police officers is now employed by the very department charged with upholding the law. And the Attorney General of the United States wouldn’t even condemn it. Neguse didn’t stop there. He turned to another bombshell: the gutting of the Justice Department’s Public Integrity Section — the office created under President Gerald Ford after Watergate to fight corruption in government. When Bondi took office, 35 career professionals staffed the unit. Now? Two. Two! Bondi tried to dodge, pivot, and argue about “weaponization,” even telling Neguse, “You don’t get to reclaim your time.” (He does.) The chairman had to remind her that, yes, members of Congress control their own time. Then came another stunning revelation: the elimination of the DOJ’s National Cryptocurrency Enforcement Team. When Neguse asked how many people currently work there, Bondi refused to answer. Neguse delivered the punchline: the team was eliminated last year — just as Trump reportedly raked in an estimated $1.4 billion through cryptocurrency holdings. Coincidence? Yeah, right. I have a bridge I’d like to sell you. Instead of answering basic oversight questions, Bondi deflected, attacked, and even tried to redirect attention to crime in Neguse’s district. The pattern is clear: pardon the rioters, hire them. Gut anti-corruption offices. Eliminate enforcement teams that might scrutinize powerful interests. Then refuse to answer when Congress asks why. This isn’t “law and order.” It’s lawlessness at the top. Please like and share if you think Pam Bondi should be fired or impeached!

Bad Bunny reminded us that in this war for the nation we’re still renovating, it is not might, or force, or eye-for-an-eye violence that will cause us to prevail; it will be our refusal to become as miserable and hateful as those we oppose. He, a man faced for months with the undeserved scorn of tens of millions of strangers, the target of the worst poison human beings are capable of, chose not to stand upon the largest platform and fly some bitter, middle finger contempt. He simply showed his humanity and reminded us of our own. He refused to allow his enemies to defeat him by becoming them. Over the span of thirteen minutes, Bad Bunny gave his detractors lessons in empathy, diversity, unity, and geography. He gave the rest of us the eyes to see what we may have forgotten. He, Love, and America won. FULL POST : johnpavlovitz.substack.com/p/bad-bunnys-h…
