Good morning and Happy New Year, 2026! 🎊 Seeing artists share how much they created in 2025 makes me realize how little I did. It was a tough year, with barely any sales and having to depend on loved ones to survive. That fear paralyzed me. I felt like my art didn’t have a place here, and that narrative was swallowing me whole. I’m not out of the woods yet, but I realized something I hadn’t before. Success requires audacity. Audacity to be loud, to be seen, to collaborate. You can’t win in isolation. As much as I want to hide away in a corner, make the art I want to make, put it up and pray it sells so I can survive, everything feels like it’s calling me to step out of that dark corner and into the light. Last year had its struggles, but it also gave me love and friendship. It inspired me to keep going, and that’s what I’m going to do. I wish every honest, hard-working human artist great success this year. May this be your time to shine. ✨
