Today the @BIA_UK hosted a #Webinar in partnership with @LucideonHealth and the @BrisBioDesign on Synthetic and #EngineeringBiology: A Joint Opportunity for the📍 #UK and #Switzerland. We explored how synthetic and engineering biology is revolutionising industries, by providing #Biosolutions to tackle #ClimateChange ☁️ unlocking the transition to a #SustainableBioeconomy 🌱 There were engaging discussions on the key challenges in scaling these #Technologies, building public awareness and acceptance, the importance of international standards, and the need for updated regulations to keep pace with innovation. The conversation highlighted the incredible potential for collaboration between 🤝 the UK and Switzerland to address 🌍 #GlobalChallenges. Congratulations 🙌 to Maddie Cass, @KKinkelin, and Anike Te for leading such an engaging session and to @lindabedenik and @KathleenSe44593 for their support 👏 Thanks to all the participants, especially those who submitted thoughtful questions on regulation and international engagement 👍
