Coconut waste isn’t trash 🌴 It can be transformed into activated carbon that cleans water, air, and the environment. Waste → Resource → Impact.

From banana stem waste → premium denim 👖🍌 Turning agri-waste into durable, biodegradable jeans is a game-changer. Circular fashion that cuts waste and creates new income for farmers. The future of textiles? Sustainable. Automated. Creative. #SustainableFashion

@BuiltToBetter Brilliant. Turning "waste" into a high-value product like denim is the ultimate win for farmer income. Who knew the future of fashion was growing in our backyards?

@BuiltToBetter Agri-waste becoming premium textile input? This is exactly the cross-sector innovation that demands anticipatory governance. Supply chains don't respect regulatory silos.

The most advanced technology on Earth is not a machine. It’s a tree. 🌳 The future will not be saved by smarter machines alone, but by wiser choices about what we preserve.

Consumers say they care about sustainability. But when shopping, convenience and price usually win. The brands that outperform? They make the sustainable option the easiest, cheapest, and default choice. Sustainability doesn’t scale through slogans. It scales through smart design. #SustainableLiving

Yes we do this in our apartment. First of all we should be taught to segregate the waste. Even in a community like ours, where everyone is educated, this team found it difficult to get it done. Now we can proudly say that we are composting. Playing a small part for this Mother Earth's wellbeing. 🙏

Food waste contributes 8–10% of global emissions. Reducing waste at home and across supply chains could dramatically shrink our footprint. 🍎 #Composting

Companies that prioritize sustainability don’t just “do good” - they often outperform. 📊 58% of 1,000+ studies reviewed by NYU Stern Center for Sustainable Business found a positive link between ESG & financial performance. 📈 Harvard Business School research shows “high sustainability” firms outperformed peers over 18 years. 💰 Morgan Stanley Institute for Sustainable Investing found sustainable funds showed lower downside risk in market downturns. Sustainability isn’t a cost, it’s a long-term competitive advantage. #SustainableLiving 📷 Pic: AI generated for illustration.

Do you know that Amazon rain-forest creates its own rain? 🌧️ Trees release water vapor that forms “flying rivers” in the sky, affecting rainfall across South America. Cut the forest…and you literally change the weather. #AmazonRainforest

Every day, millions of litres of sewage flow through our cities. What if that wastewater could become clean water again, without chemicals? That’s what Bengaluru-based startup Openwater.ai, a spin-off from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), is making possible. Their compact plug-and-play treatment systems use controlled electric fields to pull pollutants out of sewage and greywater, cleaning it without chemicals or complex filters. The units can treat 250 to 50,000 litres of wastewater a day and can be installed in just one day. Already being used in hospitals, residential complexes, and communities, the system helps recycle water for reuse, reducing pressure on freshwater sources. In a country where water scarcity affects millions, could technologies like this turn wastewater into one of India’s biggest water solutions? #WaterInnovation #WastewaterRecycling #MadeInIndia #InnovationIndia [Wastewater recycling, clean water technology, IISc innovation, Innovation India]

Did you know forests absorb nearly one-third of human CO₂ emissions every year? Yet we lose millions of hectares annually. Protecting forests isn’t just conservation - it’s climate action at scale. 🌲🌎 #SaveForests

This is a serious situation Plankton are essential to life on Earth, producing approximately 50% of the world's oxygen and forming the foundation of the marine food web. And they absorb up to 40-50% of global emissions
Dr Tom Montgomery@DrTOMontgomery

🌎 Plankton chokes to death on microfibres. Over 70% of clothing now uses fossil fuel-derived fibers— polyester makes up ~52% of total. Synthetic fiber production is set to increase to 93 billion USD by 2030, up from 63.93 billion USD in 2022 (Statista) What you can do🧵
