I am speaking as a devotee who has traveled, looked closely, and seen the tragic reality with my own eyes. When you see a millennium-old pillar drilled with holes for electrical wiring, patched with crude cement, or a priceless Chola inscription buried under cheap whitewash, it is a direct insult to our deities and the ancient sthapathis. Meanwhile, ancient temple lands are trapped in unchecked encroachments and unpaid rents. The wealth vanishes while our roots starve, leaving thousands of ancient village temples to crumble without even enough funds for the archaka to light a single daily lamp. (ஒரு கால பூஜை) The HR&CE department constantly uses two major excuses to justify its control and mislead the public: 🔺They claim the state stepped in to fix historical discrimination and inequality. This is deliberately misleading. Every temple follows its own strict Agama (spiritual laws) regarding who is consecrated to enter the sanctum and perform rituals. It was never a simple caste dynamic - even an "upper-caste" devotee is barred from the sanctum, while in many temples, the hereditary poojaris belong to entirely different communities based on their unique spiritual lineage. Twisting these localized traditions is just a tactic to create division and justify government interference. 🔺Then comes the claim that the officials are all Hindus. But checking a box on a job application doesn't give someone a heart full of bhakti. We do not want minor administrative tweaks; we want the bureaucracy completely out. The FreeTNTemples movement is the collective cry of every devotee's heart. Every other religious community in India manages its own places of worship with dignity. 🚩 Hindu temples deserve the exact same respect. #FreeTNTemples #FreeHinduTemples vc: instagram /satirical_citizen

#PadmaShri #PeoplesPadma #PadmaAwards

Sanatana Dharma Was Never Separate From Science In Indian temples, people instinctively raise their arms during prayer, aarti chanting. To many, it appears purely devotional But this simple gesture also changes breathing, circulation & nervous system activity in the body. 1/9

Do you know why the Ganga is also called “Bhagirathi”? 🌊 And why do people still say “Bhagiratha Prayatnam” when someone achieves something extremely difficult? Both come from one of the most beautiful stories in our Itihasa-Purana tradition. 👑 King Sagara was once performing the Ashwamedha Yajna. But Indra, fearing the king’s growing power, secretly hid the sacrificial horse near the ashram of Kapila Muni. When Sagara’s sons found the horse there, they wrongly accused the sage and disturbed his meditation. Kapila Muni opened his eyes from tapas, and the princes were reduced to ashes by the intensity of his spiritual energy. Generations later came Bhagiratha, who learned that only the sacred waters of Ganga could liberate his ancestors. Determined to do the impossible, he performed severe tapas for years. Moved by his devotion, Brahma agreed to send Ganga to Earth. But the force of her descent would have destroyed the Earth itself. So Bhagiratha prayed to Shiva, who compassionately received Ganga in His matted locks and gently released her onto Earth. 🌊✨ Bhagiratha then guided the river to his ancestors, granting them liberation. And from then on, Ganga came to be known as “Bhagirathi.” Even today, when someone accomplishes something extraordinarily difficult through perseverance and determination, we still call it a “Bhagiratha Prayatnam.” #GangaDusshera

காதலெனும் - #ARRahman usually brews a slow poison, but this interlude is pure, instant euphoria. Revisiting this track unleashes that exact same, electric magic every time. What a staggering composition and what an album! Absolute masterpiece. 🎧🔥

Dharma in Sanskrit is known as Dharam in Hindu and Aram in Tamil. I know you dislike the fact that Tamil has any link to Sanskrit but your very name, Saravanan is Śaravaṇa (शरवण) meaning "reed forest" in Sanskrit and it would be pronounced Shravan in Hindi. The word Dravida is also Sanskrit and through Bengali, it is present in our National Anthem. Yet, your entire movement has tried to erase the deep cultural, spiritual and linguistic bonds that tie Tamilagam and Bharatam together. Tamil Nadu is Bharat. தமிழ்த்தாயும் பாரத மாதாவும் ஒன்றே! Bharat Mata ki Jai 🙏

@SadhguruJV @ishafoundation @narendramodi SADHGURU FOR CM OF TAMILNADU Tamil Nadu is the spiritual heartbeat of India, but right now, it is bleeding. Our sacred heritage is under constant attack, and political forces are shamelessly tearing us apart by caste just to win elections. We are watching our culture being dismantled from the inside out. We have seen you transform the world, Sadhguru. You saved our soil, revived the Cauvery, and brought the ancient science of yoga to the global stage. You have proven that you do not just talk about crisis—you execute massive, ground-level solutions. We do not need another career politician. We need a visionary with absolute integrity who answers to a higher consciousness. Sadhguru, this is a rescue mission for our civilization. The call of the hour is for you to step into the political arena and lead Tamil Nadu as our Chief Minister. If you can heal the soil of the Earth, you can heal the destiny of our land. Please save Tamil Nadu. 🙏

After sleeping quietly beneath the silt for more than 30 years, the lotus flowers of Kashmir’s Wular Lake have bloomed once again. 🌸 With restoration bringing the lake back to life, the waters are smiling in pink again along with the people who never stopped hoping to see them return.
