@Blue_Footy Enzo is not an asset that deep when we inevitably turn over the ball. You’re suggesting something we’ve already seen and done. It doesn’t work against every team especially those who will punish you for turnovers in our half

The difference is, who are doing the pressing? If you have Caicedo and Santos high up the pitch to press their DM and centre-back and then Lavia behind them, they won't keep possession that much. The point I have been making since last night is, we can't press or counter-press effectively with Enzo and Palmer in midfield. If we have a good 9, I will use Joao Pedro as 10 and Palmer as winger, then push up Caicedo to press high, and drop Enzo to 6 position until we regain possession. That's a better OOP. We need to be more intense when we are pressing. For now, we are not.
