Cristiano Ronaldo has been holding Portugal back for years. Stat padding goal records in qualifying in minnows doesn’t change the fact of how he’s performed in the big tournaments. Accommodating his ego has hurt Portugal for a while & also why he doesn’t play in Europe anymore.

Portugal just played one of the worst halves of football I’ve ever watched from a team of that quality… no urgency, no tempo, no vertical passing or through balls, no desire to score… just boring short passes back and forth with no creativity they deserve to be tied

Why do people act like Gaethje having the belt means that charles is certainly going to get it back? Because charles beat justin? Do people forget that gaethje hurt him bad multiple times and that every fight is different? I could see gaethje sliming him out in a rematch

If Gaethje retired it would be an absolutely perfect career finisher. Hard to imagine he could leave 10-15 million dollars on the table with a potential McGregor or Max fight looming

Selfishly, I hope that Justin Gaethje fights again. He is the most entertaining fighter in MMA history and it is always a joy watching him compete. Unselfishly, if he chooses to retire, there is no grander way to exit the sport and he should be applauded. He’s a legend.
