@napier33027 @plgbm Ralf is the one I'd pick out as well. All the others we saw what they're capable of in Ireland. Ralf seems to be the one who has the most scope to improve and he's getting quicker every week.

@guypearce05 @napier33027 I'm by no means calling the dog slow. As PL mentioned midweek, I had sort of pigeonholed him as a front running dog. He's clearly got gears and I'm sure in a few weeks time I'll look like an idiot haha.

Fair comment but Epic Ace hasn’t raced much this year, but showed flashes of brilliance last year. I added him to my bets after the first round performance, but as the derby takes shape, you must be able to adjust your opinions as the greyhounds adapt to Towcester. It’s not Shelbourne!

Getup The Boy NAP for me tonight. Bet him at 80/1 antepost; one of the Irish dogs that never really got a mention. I think he'll lead up tonight and Duffle won't pick him up.

@napier33027 Sort of goes to my point. People are slating me telling me how fast Epic Ace is; but I didn't hear anybody mention him or bet him antepost.

@plgbm Brutal, PL. I spoke with Ian briefly at the preview night about Droopys Faithful as I'm a big fan. She was showing Tank the way home and she doesn't stay a yard; that's why I had my reservations at odds on.

@CSDogTalk Chalk and cheese run from Tank - very square on the bends tonight. Bet him at 6/4 and 2/3rds covered winner 9/2 near off. Tank was also in a treble with ace and stud 🫤

@guypearce05 Can't disagree with what you said as it's a fact. But that was an undercooked Diamond who hit the front and couldn't get home. There's absolutely no way anybody would say that's a dog who would do the clock; with missing the kick. 1/2.

@CSDogTalk He missed the kick last week as well and took off getting held up twice. He’s an aeroplane. He got to the front early tonight and gapped them. We are all entitled to an opinion- it’s just, in this case, yours is wrong !!

He's seen daylight and moved off like he does at Shelbourne. 5/6 was ridiculous.

I'd want to be taking on Lennie's Tank tonight. He's too short in my opinion but there will be a lot of people who disagree.
