@tootspootsboots @ThatchEffendi Hot take: interwar fascism would ve happened even without WW1. It was the spirit of the age if you will. WW1 and the depression just made the interwar governments unpopular enough for populists to get a foot in the door.

@ThatchEffendi It’s so funny that post WW1 era fascism was born out of the brutal economic conditions after the Treaty of Versailles and a war that ravaged the continent. The main grievance now is that the boobs in video games aren’t as big as they used to be and there’s a gay character

Native Americans having Stone Age technology prior to the Columbian Exchange demonstrated how very much was possible with Stone Age technology. And, with the exception of Andean camelids, all this *without* any beast of burden larger than a dog. Magnificent achievements.
