@covie_93 In 2016 and especially 2015, some Evangelical pastors were anti-Trump due to his long-term lifestyle and attitude. Once he won the GOP ticket, they mostly quieted. Many remain one-issue (abortion) voters. Of the nose-holding Trump voters, most got used to the stench.

@Ethereals68 If Texas goes red in 2028, I'll be disappointed, but happy we got overruled. Texas is hurting in so many ways, and the Republicans own it 100%. We are at 50th or very close on many metrics. Any Texan who isn't feeling that is oblivious to their fellow man, and fortunate.

Down South, you can easily find White people flying the Confederate flag, but many of our schools don't teach the history of slavery.

@RegularTxGuy @LakotaMan1 I agree. It's interesting to imagine what He looked like, for me, and perhaps even slightly useful in terms of reading the Gospels with interest, but what Jesus looked like or what He wore is the least important thing about Him. It's the message, not His form.
