@maksimologija @blessedmikko The Adamic covenant is the way to reconcile. Adam was a son, but coventally the head (prophet, priest, king) of creation. Life was promised upon obedience, curse upon disobedience. The penalty incurred is covenantal/legal (Rom. 5). Christ fulfilled Adam’s covenant.

@blessedmikko @WhenIamBor11717 @reformedroom Not taking the easy out, and will to explicate more on the above, but ^^^THIS is effectively Reformed Covenant theology, which supplies the forensic *emphasis of PSA (not to the exclusion of other theories). The covenant with Adam (&all in him) was legal, though he be a son, too.

His atonement lacks nothing.

Adam, God’s son, incurred the standing for him & posterity (humanity), covenantally (forensically). Christ fulfills Adam’s cov.

@ArchangeloRom @princemoth7 Accretions are not a lack of preservation. You’ve read Kings, right? And like most of the OT stories. How did God’s people burdened worship and the truth? Did he fail to preserve? Hardly. A beautiful, white dress covered in mud is not a “lost” dress. It needs purging.
