@CheapoHal My issue too. I don’t mind monument park in centerfield since it was put there as a nod to the monuments being in centerfield to start, but all the noise, LED panels, & ads is sensory overload.

Thing is they have the ability to fix some of it & at least make it respectable (like rescue Monument Pit from the hole it resides in). But their only renovations are to add more ads,& add a giant scoreboard-to display....better looking ads. Monument to billionaires, not baseball

Yankee Stadium 1 was a cathedral, even after the renovation. It saw more baseball history than any other park. Yankee Stadium 2 is just a place where baseball gets played. Nothing more.

Cashman also could have negotiated in good faith with Judge instead of lowballing him and then leaking the offer to the press during spring training.

And the 2025 team had the same issues we're complaining about again this yr. The issues you knew, the whole season, would be what kept them from a championship. So not sure what point you're trying to make here. That they'll win a lot of games and then flop in the playoffs again?
