Has any HC ever coached not to lose more than Brian Daboll? It’s the same script every time except for Titans 2022. Even after a penalty gives his offense ball at the HALF yard line he has no interest in trying to take a win. His next possessions are then all about running clock.

So many options as a play caller to call something better than run-run-pass when you have a lead and the defense is set up to stop your inside run call. But the Giants went run-run-pass twice to burn minimal clock. A lot of reasons they lost; this specific one IS on coaching.
