Don’t play politics with the El-Rufai mourning phase.
Many of these individuals were absent when Mallam was arrested, either for him or his family. They never voiced their support for Mallam or worked underground for his release. If this were not a political season, most of them would not be present.
Some are there for the cameras, and their presence will fade after the dust settles.
The loss of a parent and loved one is immeasurable.
Allow the family to mourn in peace.
Allah jikan Hajiya da wadanda suka rigamu gidan gaskiya.

Today in Abuja, I joined family, friends, and associates in prayer for the repose of Haijiya Umma El-Rufai at the funeral of the late mother of my dear brother, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai.
I extend my sincere condolences to Mallam Nasir @elrufai and the entire family. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. May you find strength in the memories you shared and comfort in the support of those around you.
I pray that Almighty Allah forgives her shortcomings, grants her eternal rest, and admits her into Aljannah Firdaus. May He also grant the family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
Moments like this remind us of our shared humanity, beyond politics, ethnicity, and religion, and the need to continue to build a society anchored on compassion, unity, and mutual respect.
May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace. -PO

This one hits hard, personal, raw and makes me cry. Maybe all you want from me is to be quiet and wish you well in whatever you chose to do, who to love and how to curate your life. That part is true, but two truths can coexist. This is not good for you at all. I insist, i am right and correct on this matter. I cannot bear this.
The day I saw your wedding picture, something in me went quiet in a way I could not immediately explain. It was not jealousy, not anger, not even judgment. It was recognition. The kind that settles into your body before your mind has time to argue with it. You were beautiful, that part was undeniable.
There is a softness that sits on a woman’s face when she believes she has finally arrived somewhere safe, when something uncertain has taken shape and now wears the name of permanence.
But as I looked at you, I was not searching for beauty. I was searching for certainty. And I could not find it. Not because of you, but because of him. Because of everything that existed around him long before you ever entered the picture. Because of the pattern that did not begin with you and will not end because of you. And I wonder if somewhere inside yourself, quietly, without language, you felt it too.
You knew. That is the part no one wants to say out loud, but it is the truth that sits underneath everything. You knew he had a wife. You knew there were children whose lives were already shaped by him. You knew there were responsibilities he had not fully carried, promises he had not fully honored, patterns he had not broken. You knew you were not stepping into an empty space, you were stepping into something already occupied, already divided, already stretched thin. How can you my baby girl love a fragmented man? You cant make a man whole. He’s been this way for a long time, you are not a repair house for broken souls.

In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.
A new era for Nigeria begins tomorrow in the ancient city of Kano. On behalf of the ADC Youth Wing, I invite every young visionary and patriotic citizen to join me as we welcome a titan of governance, Senator Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, into the African Democratic Congress (ADC). We stand at a crossroads where courage meets opportunity. We urge you to be part of this monumental reception to witness the moment we strengthen our party with the experience and passion of a leader who prioritizes human capital development.
