This news is incomplete and misleading. No one apologized. The fight did start because of the water balloon incident yesterday, but there had already been tensions between the two families for a long time. The argument continued throughout the day. At night, the boy who died came back with some guys from the gym and a serious fight broke out. 4–5 people from the Muslim side were badly injured. One 13-year-old boy is admitted in ICU at Safdarjung Hospital, and 1–2 people have broken ribs. The one who died was the same person who had brought those boys and they were the ones who attacked first. During the clash, he got hit on the head and fell there. The gym boys ran away. When fights happen from both sides, such things happen. After that, the house was looted and set on fire. Now, in the name of one death, many others will face encounters, and bulldozers will be used on homes. The posts circulating right now are a one-sided narrative created by Sanghis.

I always knew there was another side... The Uttam Nagar case didn't start with a murder. It started with a 20 y/o named Prince throwing dirty water balloons at a Muslim lady. She called him out. Drunk men then misbehaved with her. That misbehavior is what triggered the chain of events... allegedly Said by this lady in video. Tarun's death is tragic and we condemn it clearly. But erasing the woman's victimhood to build a cleaner narrative is dishonest. And yes...Muslim communities must learn to present their side faster, because delayed truth always loses to instant propaganda.
